1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Edges Academy website and learning platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access the website or use our services.

2. Use of the Platform

You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. Misuse of the platform, including unauthorized access, attempting to disrupt our servers, or using the platform to harass others, is strictly prohibited.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features (such as enrolling in courses), you may be required to register an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (username and password). All activity that occurs under your account is your sole responsibility. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately.

4. Course Access & Usage

Edges Academy grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and view the course content for which you have paid, solely for your personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.

Strict Copyright Notice:

All platform content, including but not limited to videos, course materials, slides, examples, assignments, projects, quizzes, branding, code snippets, designs, and any other educational resources, is the exclusive property of Edges Academy or its instructors and is protected under Egyptian and international copyright laws.

You may NOT:

Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly display any course content
Share your login details with any other person
Download any course materials, slides, examples, assignments, projects, or any part of the course content, unless explicitly allowed by a Download button provided by the platform for specific materials
Use the content for commercial purposes or training delivery

Any unauthorized use constitutes a violation of these Terms and applicable copyright laws.

5. Payments & Refunds

Pricing:
All prices are clearly displayed prior to purchase. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect prior purchases.

Refund Policy:
We offer a 7-day refund policy on eligible courses, provided that you have not started the course.

A course is considered “started” once the student accesses any lesson, video, live session, or downloadable material on the platform.

To request a refund, you must contact support within 7 days of purchase. Refund requests submitted after the course has started will not be eligible.

6. Intellectual Property

Ownership of Content

All content available on the Edges Academy platform, including but not limited to video lectures, text, graphics, logos, button icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of Edges Academy or its content suppliers and is protected by Egyptian and international copyright laws.

Limited License to Students

Upon purchasing a course, you are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and view the course content. This license is for your personal education only. You do not have the right to download, copy, or store video or course content unless a “Download” button is explicitly provided for specific materials (such as PDFs).

Prohibited Actions

To protect our intellectual property, the following actions are strictly prohibited:

Account Sharing: Sharing login credentials with others. Our systems track IP addresses and simultaneous sessions. Detected violations will result in immediate termination without refund.
Redistribution: Reproducing, redistributing, transmitting, selling, renting, lending, modifying, or creating derivative works from any course content without written permission.
Screen Recording: Using screen capture, screen recording, or similar software to record any course content.

Trademarks

The Edges Academy name, logo, and any associated branding elements are trademarks of Edges Academy. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

If you believe any content on the platform infringes upon copyright, please notify us at contactus@edges-academy.com, and we will take appropriate action.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you violate these Terms—particularly regarding account sharing or copyright infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Edges Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Cairo.

10. Changes to Terms

Edges Academy reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Certificates and Accreditation

Edges Academy provides certificates upon successful course completion and holds specific accreditations where explicitly stated (such as from the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate). Course completion does not guarantee employment or admission to other institutions unless explicitly mentioned.
